How popular are black & white weddings?

Jewels by Jan has also been busy designing 2-more new barefoot sandals for  black and white weddings (actually ours will be Black & Cream).  How often  do brides choose black and white as their wedding colors?  Would YOU ever choose these colors?  Tell us below.  This theme seems to be emerging once again and is most popular with brides who want an evening wedding with glitz & glamour, reminiscient of the 40′s era – Marilyn Monroe, men in black ties and women in chic black cocktail dresses with white-gloved waiters offering martini’s on trays.  A big band  for dancing and the bride all gorgeous in her white gown carrying a bouquet of lucious red roses- the perfect accent to black and white (or cream).  We’ve found so many beautiful wedding cakes done in black and white, wedding favors, etc. so this “trend” may be coming back in a big way so there are plenty of accessories to complement this theme.  One of the new beaded foot jewelry designs will be made with Swarovski crystals, delicate black beads with just a hint of gold for accent and topped off  with a beautiful black, rhinestone and gold scalloped medallion.  The other pair of barefoot sandals will be made with dainty black beads and both 4mm and 6mm Swarovski cream-colored pearls, complimented with a lovely scalloped pearl and rhinestone medallion trimmed in gold.  Ladies – when it’s time to get out on the dance floor, just kick off those Manolo Blahnik’s, slip into a pair of beaded barefoot sandals and dance in total comfort. WOW!   Both designs are now posted and you can find them at http://www.jewels-by-jan.com/barefootsandals.htm
